Born and raised in the vibrant King Gray community of Paynesville City, Kojori, formerly known as Elias, began his musical journey in 2016 with high school freestyle performances that showcased his natural talent and passion for storytelling. In 2019, he took a pivotal step forward with his debut single Independence, earning recognition as a promising voice in the Liberian music scene. Inspired by the late Quincy B, Kojori channels themes of love, resilience, and life’s realities through his music. After a brief hiatus, he returned in 2024 with Jah, a hit that reignited his presence and earned him a nomination for Artist to Watch at the Paynesville Entertainment Awards. Now signed to DMG Music, he is stepping into a new chapter with music that resonates far beyond Liberia.
